Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and shares in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community. Teachers are responsible for delivering high quality contemporary learning and teaching for the community they serve which is embedded in the Catholic world view. It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.

<p>Parramatta Marist High School is a Catholic school with a history and tradition spanning 200 years.&nbsp; Since 1875 it has been shaped by the Marist charism, one that flows from a basic trust in God and a desire to follow Christ in the way of Mary.&nbsp; Our pedagogy is based around Project/Problem Based Learning and Flipped Classroom through a collaborative approach in PLTs and Team-Teaching.</p> <p>Parramatta Marist High School is looking for an experienced HSC teacher who can mark practice HSC papers in early Term 4 for Year 12 2021 (and potentially for next year as well, Term 3) in the areas given above.&nbsp; Markers are expected to provide detailed and general feedback to students.&nbsp; Markers must be accredited with Catholic Education, Diocese of Parramatta.</p> <p>Applications close 1pm on Monday 18 October, 2021.</p> <p><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
