This is a 2 point promotional position with a commensurate time allowance. The position is based at the Auburn campus (Stage 5 and 6) .</p><p>Accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney is a distinct advantage.</p><p> </p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education</li><li>NESA Accreditation at Proficient or higher level</li><li>Registration, or eligibility for registration to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools</li><li>Experience and proven ability to lead, inspire and influence teachers in a process of continual improvement.</li><li>Demonstrable and sustained success as a classroom teacher with significant experience across a range of Mathematics courses.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to improve student numeracy and achievement</li><li>Ability and demonstrated experience in collecting and using a range of evidence to assess, evaluate and improve teaching and learning practices</li><li>Proven ability to implement high impact teaching strategies to improve learning outcomes for every student</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate the development of collaborative teamwork and quality relationships in working with others</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Desirable Criteria</b>:</p><ul><li>Practising Catholic with accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney</li><li>Experience in teaching Stage 6 Extension 1 and 2 Mathematics.</li><li>HSC Mathematics marking experience</li><li>Demonstrated ability and willingness to lead and support a range of co-curricular events</li></ul><p><br /></p>
