Endeavour College is seeking to appoint 2 x Science Teachers to commence in January 2022. Successful applicants will be qualified and experienced teachers with the ability to teach Years 7-12 across multiple disciplines of the science curriculum including Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Psychology, and general science.

<ul><li>1 x permanent fulltime Science Teacher</li><li>1 x fixed term part-time (0.5 - 0.7 FTE) </li></ul><p>One of these positions will have a strong focus on Chemistry, so specialists with experience teaching Chemistry at Stage 1 &amp; 2 would be highly regarded.</p><p>There is also the potential of a leadership opportunity as the Science Learning Leader for the right candidate.</p><p>These teaching roles are responsible for the planning, organisation, implementation, and delivery of quality instructional programs within a secondary learning environment.</p><p>Both positions will also have responsibility for a designated Care Group.</p><p>In addition, for those applying for the permanent position, there is the opportunity to be considered for the position of Science Learning Leader. This role provides management and oversight of the learning area in alignment with the core values of The Endeavour Way and the Vision for Learning, and ensuring compliance with Australian curriculum requirements, improvement of student learning outcomes for all participating cohorts, and ensuring that the aims and objectives of the College are embraced and embedded within the learning area. </p><p>Applicants are encouraged to clearly state all subject areas that they are qualified, experienced, and willing to teach within their application, along with their preference for a fulltime or part-time opportunity, and whether they are interested in, and have experience in a leadership position.</p><p>We envision experienced teachers with a proven record in education, a true passion for Science, committed to excellence in Christian co-education, and an understanding of Restorative Practices, and the principles of Lutheran education to join our team.<br /></p><p></p><p>You will have a passion for, and experience teaching in one or more science disciplines within a secondary school environment, across a variety of year levels in both Middle Years and Senior Years.<br /></p><p><b>All applications should be submitted through the employment page of our website addressed to Mr Glyn Roberts, Principal and include:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Cover letter, clearly stating the position you are applying for </li><li>Resume</li><li>SA Teacher Registration Number</li><li>WWCC</li><li>3 referees (preferably 2 professional including current employer &amp; 1 pastoral)</li></ul><p><b>Applications close 9am on Monday 27 September 2021.</b></p><p>Endeavour College values staff who enthusiastically engage in their work as a Christian vocation that is based on caring relationships with students and staff.
