Rosebank College promotes an inclusive, welcoming environment for children and provides transparent, accountable, risk-managed approaches to ensure child safeguarding. </p><p>For further information about Rosebank College, please visit our website: <a href="http://www.rosebank.nsw.edu.au." rel="nofollow">www.rosebank.nsw.edu.au.</a> </p><p><br /></p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>Commencing in Term 1, 2022, an exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Dean of Professional Learning and Culture to join the Rosebank team in a permanent ongoing position (1.0FTE position). </p><p>Reporting to the Assistant Principal, the Dean of Professional Learning and Culture is responsible for the development and implementation of the Rosebank College Learning Framework across the College. </p><p>The Dean of Professional Learning and Culture works collaboratively with the Dean of Learning, Faculty leaders and all staff to provide pedagogical, curriculum and assessment leadership across the College by recognising that data informs practice. The Dean of Professional Learning and Culture will work with the College Leadership Team and all staff in the translation of data analytics into school wide mentoring strategies which improve teaching and learning outcomes and achieve excellence across the College. Additionally, the Dean of Professional Learning and Culture will ensure that all staff professional development opportunities are consistent with the strategic direction of the College Strategic Plan, AITSL standards and the accreditation requirements of NESA, including the College’s requirements as a Teacher Accreditation Authority (TAA). </p><p>The College welcomes applications from qualified educators who possess an exceptional teaching and learning record with the ability to lead the professional learning agenda whilst ensuring outstanding student outcomes. </p><p>The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, passionate and a committed member of our College and be prepared to contribute to all aspects of College life. It is an expectation that all staff support the vision and goals of the College as a learning community. </p><p>Applicants for this position must be excellent classroom practitioners, dedicated team players, and skilled in their use of educational technology in the classroom. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>The successful candidate will be an outstanding leader and educator who is highly motivated to support Rosebank College to ensure continued academic achievement, by inspiring and developing innovative learning which engages and values every learner. </p><p>To be considered for this position, you must be a highly dedicated educator who meets the following criteria: </p><ul><li>Master’s in Education / Educational Leadership or similar (completed or ongoing) </li><li>Proven experience as an exceptional Teacher </li><li>Proven experience as a middle leader with a minimum of 5 years (essential) </li><li>Proven experience as an executive leader (desirable) </li><li>Experience in leading the ongoing development of quality differentiated pedagogy, and authentic learning and assessment </li><li>Experience in collaborating with teachers and staff to build and improve teacher and middle leader capacity </li><li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate, plan and provide effective leadership of school-wide professional learning initiatives </li><li>Capacity to effectively collaborate with staff to analyse College data to inform practice and improve student outcomes </li><li>Demonstrated experience in leading and sharing innovative professional learning and teaching practice </li><li>Excellent presentation and communication skills </li><li>Effective implementation of significant and sustainable school improvement initiatives </li><li>An understanding and commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teaching </li><li>A proven ability to incorporate modern technologies in teaching practice and convey passion about classroom innovation </li><li>Possess a valid Working With Children Check </li><li>A commitment to the child safeguarding principles </li><li>Willingness to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College </li></ul><p>For further information about the role, view the position description <a href="https://rosebank.nsw.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/DEAN-OF-PROFESSIONAL-LEARNING-AND-CULTURE.pdf" rel="nofollow">here</a>. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Closing date: 29 September 2021 (4pm) </b></p><p><br /></p><p><b>The Process </b></p><p>If you believe you meet the requirements of this position as listed above, then we would love to hear from you.
