Is a new P-Yr12 school located at Edmondson Park. It is the result of a partnership between the CEO Wollongong and EREA.

<p>St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park is located near the junction of the M5 and M7 motorways. It is a rapidly growing P-12 school with a student population exceeding 1200 students in 2022 (K-12). The college is one school, not a traditional primary school and high school coexisting on the same site. As such, the college is organised into Junior Years Learning (K-4), Middle Years Learning (5-8) and Senior Years Learning (9-12).</p> <p>Two temporary part time positions (working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) commencing 28 January 2022 until 20 December 2022. The successful applicants will be required to provide PPT Relief in our Junior Years (K-4) Learning Team.&nbsp; The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.</li> <li>Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.</li> <li>Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.</li> <li>Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in KLA (s).</li> <li>Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.</li> <li>Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.</li> </ul> <p>GENERAL CAPABILITIES</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Well-developed interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li> </ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).</li> <li>Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment&nbsp; with CEDoW.</li> <li>The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.</li> </ul> <p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p>This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.</p> <p>POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</p> <p>Applicants are to complete an online application which asks to briefly address the essential criteria (equivalent to 2-3 pages) and submit a short CV (2-3 pages).</p> <p>To submit your Application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.</p> <p><strong>Closing date: 6 October 2021 4pm</strong></p>
