The College is seeking applications from a suitably qualified and highly motivated Mathematics 7-12 Teacher with the ability to teach Junior Science. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract, commencing the beginning of Term 1, 2022 and concluding at the end of the school year 2022.

<p><b>The main responsibilities of the position include: </b></p><p>• Provide opportunities to engage students in a variety of learning experiences where students are encouraged and     supported in achieving personal excellence. </p><p>• Provide students with a positive role model through their actions as a committed Catholic educator. </p><p>• To assist students with individual and group work in accordance with the work requirements outlined in course of studies. </p><p>• Assist the Key Learning Leaders in reviewing, designing and developing curriculum. </p><p>• Work as part of a team of Faculty and/or College based staff. </p><p>• Work as part of the teaching staff at St Bernard’s College. </p><p>• Other tasks as directed by the Key Learning Area Leader’s and Deputy Principal. </p><p>• Be involved in our extra-curricular program.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>The successful applicant will have a teaching qualification and demonstrate the following competencies: </b></p><p>• Experience teaching Mathematics 7 to 12 and Junior Science; </p><p>• Understanding of and demonstrated commitment to the Catholic philosophy and ethos of education; </p><p>• Understanding of the pastoral care needs of boys in a Catholic secondary school; </p><p>• Experience within a Catholic educational organisation an advantage.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p>Please complete the online application form by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
