We are looking for teachers with experience in the following subject areas to join us in 2022: Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) - Science - English - Religious Education - Technical and Applied Science (TAS)

<p>Xavier High School is a Catholic School that witnesses and lives out our Catholic faith in the traditions and charisms of Catherine McAuley and Edmund Rice. All staff are expected to understand and demonstrate the ethos of the 5Cs: challenge, compassion, courage, collaboration and Christ-like behaviour.</p><p>We are looking for teachers with experience in the following subject areas to join us in 2022: </p><p><b>Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) - Science - English - Religious Education - Technical and Applied Science (TAS) </b></p><ul><li>Full Time Ongoing Positions.</li><li>The option of taking on a House Coordinator role.</li><li>Term 1 2022 start.</li><li>Experience across more than one subject area is not mandatory but would be favourable. </li></ul><p><b>The successful applicants will be able to clearly demonstrate: </b></p><ul><li>An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education;</li><li>Expertise as a classroom practitioner and passion for delivering high quality lessons;</li><li>Appropriate tertiary qualifications and experience;</li><li>Ability to use technology to inform learning;</li><li>A sound understanding of contemporary research in educational practice; and</li><li>Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.</li></ul><p><b>Interested candidates should submit a one page application which addresses the following selection criteria: </b></p><ul><li>An understanding of and the ability to commit to the ideals of Catholic Education in our school and school community. </li><li>Up to date knowledge of NESA requirements for stage 4, 5 and 6 courses in at least one of the subject areas of PDHPE, Science, English, Religious Education, TAS. </li><li>Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with students and staff. </li><li>Expertise as a classroom practitioner with high learning expectations and a passion for delivering high quality lessons. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to ongoing development and continual improvement of pedagogical practices. </li><li>Experience and willingness to collaborate and contribute to dynamic learning teams committed to improving the learning growth of all students. </li></ul><p>To apply for a position please forward your Curriculum Vitae and a statement no longer than one page addressing the selection criteria to Ms Roz McNair at <a href="mailto:mcnairr1&#64;ww.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">mcnairr1&#64;ww.catholic.edu.au</a> by 9am <b>Friday 1 October 2021</b>. </p><p>Please also provide three Professional Referees One of your referees must be your current Principal.
