In the tradition of Edmund Rice, the College provides a wonderfully rich and liberating education that fosters student spirituality and promotes the values of inclusivity, justice and solidarity. The College boasts a state-of-the-art Performing Arts facility which supports the wonderful talents of our students. The College continues to have exceptional growth in results at HSC level and an outstanding history of success in the subject area of Stage 6 Music. </p><p>The successful candidate will be an innovative practitioner with specialist knowledge, qualifications and teaching experience in a range of Performing Arts subjects including Music and Drama (Stages 4 and 5) and Music, Drama, Certificate III in Entertainment and Certificate III in Screen and Media (Stage 6). The Performing Arts Leader of Learning must demonstrate exceptional capacity to further promote the partnership that has been developed with St Joseph’s Girls Catholic College in the delivery of co-educational Stage 6 courses and combined productions. </p><p>Applicants must be experts in their field with experience in leading a team of talented teachers who work dynamically and collaboratively in the development of effective strategies in a student-centered learning environment. </p><p> Applicants must be creative and innovative with demonstrable ICT skills, be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the community and be willing to work closely with the Director of Mission and Identity in the preparation of musical items to support the College Retreat and Liturgical program. </p><p>If you are a passionate educator, with a willingness to challenge yourself and make a significant contribution to an educational setting that is filled with energetic, creative and inspiring educators, then you are the type of professional that we are looking for. </p><p>St Edward’s College is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
