<p>A vacancy has emerged which provides a combined leadership and teaching position.</p><p>House Coordinator 0.2FTE with a 0.8FTE teaching position. </p><p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers for this permanent full-time position commencing in Term 1, 2022.</p><p><b>Key Selection Criteria:</b></p><p>For the leadership role:</p><ul><li>A commitment to supporting the positive religious culture of a Catholic school environment for young women in the Marist tradition.</li><li>A desire to lead the College Wellbeing programs and initiatives and support the wellbeing needs of students.</li><li>The ability to dynamically lead a House group and tutors.</li><li>Effective communication skills when liaising with internal and external wellbeing support, as well as with parents.</li></ul><p>This leadership role attracts a 2-point remuneration with appropriate time allowance within the timetable.</p><p>For the teaching role:</p><ul><li>A commitment to excellence in differentiated pedagogy and assessment in your teaching area.</li><li>An understanding of and ability to effectively enhance student achievement and performance which is informed by evidence-based approaches and the skilled use of data.</li><li>The ability to work and teach as part of a team.</li><li>A willingness to be involved in the College’s co-curricular activities.</li><li>A genuine desire to build professional relationships which promote a shared commitment and a sense of achievement.</li></ul><p>Interested applicants should submit a cover letter to the Principal, Dr Anne Ireland; an application addressing each of the selection criteria, a current resume and completed <b><i>Employment Application Form for Teaching Staff</i></b> (found on the College website under Employment Opportunities) with certified copies of qualifications.<br /></p><p>Teachers must be registered to teach with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS).
