<p>The Learning Coach leads improvement initiatives by motivating teachers, developing their expertise and building and maintaining high performance professional teams within the Mathematics Learning Area. They model pedagogy that is informed by the AITSL teaching standards and the AITSL classroom practice continuum. </p><p><b>MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY </b></p><p>The Learning Coach’s main responsibilities include but are not limited to: </p><ul><li>Leading teachers to interpret and use coaching data to inform practice, differentiate and develop effective pedagogy. </li><li>Advising teachers in the design and implementation of student-centred classroom strategies which promote student engagement and achievement. </li><li>Providing opportunities for self-reflection, feedback and direction for improvement at the individual, team and organisational level. </li><li>Working in collaboration with the Curriculum Leaders to identify and support long- term requirements of the Learning Area, including resource development. </li><li>Working with the Leadership Team to develop, implement and sustain a clear vision for the future of the College in accordance with the Mission Statement. </li></ul><p><b>APPLICATION PROCESS</b></p><p>For further information and how to apply visit our website https://www.salesiansunbury.vic.edu.au/employment/vacancies </p><p>This is an ongoing teaching position, with a Position of Leadership for 2022-2023 to align with our POL cycle. </p><p><b>Applications close 25 October 2021</b></p><p><i>The Salesian College Sunbury community is committed to promoting the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all students. </i></p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p>
