St Vincent’s College is a Catholic Day and Boarding College for girls in Years 7 to 12. The College was founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1858 and is now under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. The College fosters creativity, discernment and leadership in the development of students to be courageous women of action.
<p><br /></p><p>An experienced and dynamic Science teacher is sought for a <b>temporary Maternity Leave position for 2022</b>. The successful applicant will have an innovative approach to teaching Science to young women for Stages 4 and 5. The ability to teach Stage 6 in one of the disciplines of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Earth and Environmental, would be an advantage </p><p>Applicants also need to have : </p><p>• A commitment to Catholic education, displaying a clear understanding of the ethos of Catholic schools. </p><p>• Commitment to promoting a culture of excellence, high expectations and a growth mindset as part of a Professional Learning Team. </p><p>• Ability to integrate technology into learning practice to maximise student outcomes and engagement. </p><p>• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to build positive relationships and promote positive education. </p><p>Applications close 4 October 2021 </p><p>          </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
