We focus on a whole school approach that sees consistency in our learning framework, pastoral care and wellbeing approach and drive for academic and personal excellence. </p><p><b>About the Position </b></p><p>We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and collaborative candidate for this fulltime position to join our TAS team. The successful candidate will be a dynamic educator who is a committed Christian, actively involved in their local church. Strong Stage 5 and 6 Elective numbers in Timber, Multimedia and Engineering have led to this need. In a key area of learning where innovation is important, we would expect the candidate to be aware of and able to integrate emerging technologies and trends to give our students the competitive edge needed to engage and succeed in their post school world. </p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>With the ability to drive and facilitate a deep love of learning in students, your Christian faith will be evident in your ability to integrate an authentic Christian worldview into every learning experience. You will have a clear understanding of differentiated learning and assessment, catering for the individual needs of all students. Along with NESA accreditation and a current Working with Children Check you will need to be able to demonstrate the following: </p><ul><li>qualifications with specialisation in Industrial Technology education </li><li>recent Stage 6 TAS (NESA curriculum) experience in one or more Industrial Technology focus areas </li><li>comprehensive understanding of the various disciplines within the TAS area </li><li>excellence, professionalism and commitment to collaborative, innovative and effective practice in your teaching </li><li>highly relational interpersonal skills with staff, students and parents </li><li>excellent oral and written communication skills </li><li>flexibility and interest in working in an innovative and dynamic environment </li><li>commitment to ongoing professional growth and development </li><li>excellent ICT skills across a range of platforms </li></ul><p><b><i>Highly desirable </i></b></p><ul><li>HSC marking experience in one or more courses </li><li>experience teaching Stage 5 and 6 Timber, Engineering and Multimedia </li></ul><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Applications close 4.00pm Friday 24 September 2021 </b></p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
