There is a teaching component to this load. </p><p><b>About the role </b></p><p>The role of the Learning Enhancement and Diversity Coordinator is to provide an inclusive education and enhanced educational opportunities for all students. The Learning Enhancement and Diversity Coordinator is reporting to the Assistant Principal - Student Wellbeing and is responsible for promoting and ensuring an inclusive educational environment through the coordination, oversight and monitoring of students with disabilities or with diverse learning needs. This will include coordinating a team of support staff to plan and coordinate the delivery of additional support for individual students and their learning needs. The Learning Enhancement and Diversity Coordinator will assist the Assistant Principal - Student Wellbeing in meeting obligations and compliance with regulatory authorities. The Learning Enhancement and Diversity Coordinator reports to the Assistant Principal - Student Wellbeing. </p><p><b>MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY </b></p><p>The major areas of responsibility of the Learning Enhancement and Diversity Coordinator include but are not limited to: </p><p>i. Case management of students with identified learning needs; </p><p>ii. Liaising with students, parents and staff to oversee the Learning Profile (LP) and Personalised Learning Program (PLP) of students with a disability or with diverse learning needs; </p><p>ii. Collaborating with Learning Leader and teachers regarding suitable pedagogy to support students with diverse learning needs; </p><p>iv. Leading staff in the department; </p><p>v. Overseeing departmental processes which align with the Response to Intervention (RtI) model and the Disability Standards for Education (2005); and </p><p>vi.
