<p>The role of Deputy Head of Middle School encompasses key leadership, management and development responsibilities for Years 7-9. The role includes high level capacity to foster positive relationships with staff, students and parents.  The capacity to maintain a safe and orderly environment that prioritises learning and fosters individual achievement and student wellbeing is essential.<br /><br />Reporting directly to the Leader – Middle School, this role embraces a wide scope of responsibilities and requires the successful applicant to maintain effective operational procedures and contribute to a range of programs related to academic and wellbeing policies and practices across Years 7-9.  This will also involve management of student discipline and student matters.<br /><br />The Deputy Head of Middle School is an integral member of the Senior School Executive and a member of the School’s Senior Management K-12 team. Commitment to innovation, collaboration and school improvement processes as part of the team is essential.
