<p>Oakhill College is an Independent Catholic Secondary School conducted in the Lasallian tradition, with an enrolment of 1,800 students, boys Years 7 to 10, co-educational in Years 11 and 12. Oakhill College is located in Castle Hill, NSW, and offers a wide range of subject choices and extra-curricular activities. </p><p>An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic teacher to join the College’s Language faculty. Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for the following temporary full-time position, commencing in Term 1, 2022. </p><p><b>Languages Teacher - Italian </b></p><p><b>Temporary Position </b></p><p><b>Terms 1-4, 2022 (max. term) </b></p><p>Oakhill College seeks to appoint an innovative and skilled languages teacher with excellent communication skills and classroom experience. The successful applicant will have knowledge of current developments in teaching and learning and a passion and enthusiasm for teaching. </p><p><b>The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate knowledge of, and experience in, the areas listed below: </b></p><p>• Teaching Italian across Stages 4-6; </p><p>• Ability to implement new syllabi; </p><p>• Managing student behaviour; </p><p>• Inspiring students to aspire; </p><p>• Sound pedagogical practices. </p><p>The successful applicant will: </p><p>• Hold a degree with a specialisation in Languages education (preferred); </p><p>• Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School; </p><p>• Be supportive of the Lasallian ethos of the College; </p><p>• Be an experienced, innovative, and engaging team leader; </p><p>• Teach with excellence, professionalism, and commitment; </p><p>• Have an ability to relate to girls and boys with practical knowledge of boy’s education issues and initiatives in the foundation years (Stage 4 and 5); </p><p>• Be committed to professional growth and development of excellence. </p><p>Oakhill College is committed to innovative high-quality teaching and learning and offers excellent facilities and resources.
