<p>Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS) operates almost 300 Catholic primary, secondary and special schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne, and provides a range of services to a further 41 Catholic schools in the Archdiocese with different governance arrangements.</p> <p>More than 550 staff work at the MACS head office in East Melbourne and four regional offices. These staff oversee and support Catholic schools in the Archdiocese. The work of these staff encompasses areas as diverse as Curriculum, Religious Education, Finance, Information and Communications Technology, Marketing and Communications, Leadership, Student Wellbeing, Legal, Planning and Industrial Relations. MACS is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong><br> <br> Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the full-time, ongoing role of <strong>Learning Consultant - Diversity/Behaviour</strong> based in our Southern Region Office in Moorabbin.<br> <br> Working as part of a team, the Learning Consultant - Diversity/Behaviour will be responsible for building the capacity of principals and school leaders across Melbourne and regional Victoria, to implement multi-tiered systems of support aligned to the CECV Intervention Framework and implement inclusive teaching practices responsive to the diverse needs of students. A detailed position description is available on our website.<br> <br> Salary range for this position is $72,058 (T1/1) - $108,003 (T2/6) per annum according to the Teacher Salaries as set out in the <em><a href="http://www.cecv.catholic.edu.au/getmedia/e728ccbb-dac1-4822-9607-7c5cb8abdae9/VCEMEA_2013.aspx">Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018</a></em>. Salary is based upon teaching qualifications and experience. In addition to this, a School Adviser Allowance ($8,817 or $11,921 per annum) which is dependent upon years of service will be applicable, plus superannuation according to the <em>Superannuation Guarantee Legislation</em>.<br> <br> <strong>ABOUT YOU</strong><br> <br> The successful applicants will have a demonstrated understanding of state and national policies and curriculum in relation to inclusive teaching practices including Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), Response to Intervention and Positive Behaviour Support. You will have experience in the development of evidence based teaching and learning approaches, supporting implementation of positive behaviour support and the ability to build the capacity of teachers and leaders within schools in relation to inclusive teaching practices and curriculum provision for students with diverse learning needs.<br> <br> The successful applicants will also be subject to a Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check<em>.</em><br> <br> <strong>SELECTION CRITERIA</strong><br> <br> Please refer to the <a href="https://cem.elmotalent.com.au/uploads/cem/files/PD_LearningConsultantDiversityBehaviour_SRO.pdf">position description</a> for further details about the role and the Key Selection Criteria.
