The Wellbeing Coordinator is accountable for supporting the Diocese's Strategic Intent of improving learning outcomes for all students by focusing on student wellbeing initiatives.

We are always on the lookout for top talent to help us achieve our strategic goal of inspiring the future, through quality catholic schooling and by strengthening the professional lives of our employees.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">We are seeking a collaborative and skilled Wellbeing Coordinator - School Based to join the team at CEDP on a <strong>Permanent full-time</strong> basis from <strong>Term 1, 2022</strong>. The Wellbeing Coordinator is responsible for delivering high level advice and proactivity in the area of supporting wellbeing, learning and teaching. You will work in collaboration with Leading counsellors, wellbeing counsellors, diversity teams and teachers and partner with school&nbsp; leadership teams. The Wellbeing Co-ordinator - School Based will have a wellbeing counsellor role in one school in addition to their leading/co-ordinating duties. More specifically you will:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Co-ordinate and Lead the team of School Based Leading Counsellors</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work collaboratively with school communities to support implementation of initiatives and programs that promote the wellbeing of students/school communities</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Coordinate and build the capacity of K-12 Wellbeing Counsellors to provide a comprehensive support service to students and families</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Provide consultation in relation to the management of significant wellbeing issues impacting school communities</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Provide individual clinical supervision to a number of wellbeing counsellors</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Facilitate a network group of approximately 10 - 12 wellbeing counsellors</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Lead the induction of new wellbeing counsellors</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Provide expert advice to school leadership teams around complex cases</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrate and facilitate counsellor professional learning</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Engage with families to support their child and to strengthen home-school partnerships</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Provide individual and group counselling services to students</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Facilitate psychoeducation for parent groups</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Liaise with external agencies and professionals to enhance student support</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Support leaders and staff to respond effectively to student welfare</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Collaborate with key stakeholders to design personalised plans for students</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Collaborate with key stakeholders to complete Risk Assessments and develop Risk Management plans</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Maintain records in line with CEDP requirements</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Provide leadership and consultation to the system to develop proactive wellbeing frameworks and processes</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of CEDP along with:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Be a Registered Psychologist with The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (General) or a Social Worker eligible for membership of the&nbsp; Australian Association of Social Workers</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have 5 or more years experience in school based counselling</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have additional experience in non school based counselling services</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have experience in providing clinical supervision</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have the capacity to make a significant contribution within schools to matters related to student welfare and wellbeing</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have demonstrated evidence based professionally informed judgment in dealing with sensitive issues</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have demonstrated capacity to engage students, parents and teachers in the counselling process</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have demonstrated capability to facilitate parent and care-giver education</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Be supportive of Catholic ethos</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Qualifications and accreditations:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Registration as a&nbsp;
