<p>Permanent Fulltime Position</p><p>Mount St Joseph Catholic College seeks to appoint an outstanding, innovative Assistant English Leader.<br /></p><p>The Assistant English Leader will assist the Leader of Learning to oversee the work of faculty members and is involved in the academic direction, administration, and management of the faculty. </p><p>The successful applicant will be committed to the Catholic ethos of the school and utilisation of effective learning and teaching strategies and technologies to enhance 21st-century pedagogy. </p><p>Essential Criteria:</p><ul><li>An ability to create a culture of excellence and high expectation through positive support of student environment.</li><li>An outstanding classroom teacher who models high quality and innovative practice.</li><li>An awareness of current trends in pedagogical practice and the ability to discern their relevance to a particular context.</li><li>An enthusiasm for working in a collaborative learning environment with demonstrated skills as a passionate educator.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership in school improvement.</li><li>Experience in teaching Stage 6.</li></ul><p>Desirable Criteria</p><ul><li>Religious Education teaching credentials is an advantage.<br /></li><li>A minimum of five years experience.</li></ul>
