Exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and dedicated staff as a Learning Community Teacher to begin in Term 1, 2022.

<p>Applications are invited from beginning and experienced teachers to join a team dedicated to achieving engaging learning experiences that challenge children to achieve their personal best. We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking team player who will be able to create curriculum, manage change and support students in a developing environment. </p><p>The successful applicant needs to be able to demonstrate how they can inspire the children in their care and communicate their passion. </p><p>It is expected that the successful applicant will: </p><ul><li>be committed to the values and ethos of the Catholic education system and be able to embed these values into their teaching </li><li>be experienced in teaching primary classes</li><li>be highly motivated, committed, positive, friendly and enthusiastic </li><li>be passionate and innovative about learning and teaching </li><li>have a sound knowledge of current best practice and curriculum </li><li>have experience with a Restorative Practices Approach </li><li>be able to communicate frequently and sensitively with families and successfully engage them in the instructional program </li><li>be able to work as part of teams of various sizes </li><li>be self-motivated and able to work independently if necessary </li><li>have a sound knowledge of planning and teaching through inquiry based learning</li><li>have an understanding of Faith Life Inquiry</li><li>have the capacity to cater effectively for a diverse range of learning needs </li><li>be able to build positive relationships with children and create learning environments where all are valued and challenged </li><li>be committed to professional learning and ongoing improvement </li><li>be able to embed ICT into classroom practice</li></ul><p>This community of St Mary MacKillop is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.
