<p>St Mary&#39;s School, Altona is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic Auslan teacher for the 2022 school year. </p><p>This is the school&#39;s first foray into teaching Auslan as a LOTE and we are looking to hire someone who is excited by the prospect of implementing Auslan not only as our Specialist LOTE program, but also through the exploration of weaving Auslan throughout other currculum areas.</p><p>The successful applicant will be willing to:</p><ul><li>work with staff to find opportunities of embedding Auslan across various curriculum areas<br /></li><li>provide professional learning for staff to learn Auslan</li><li>provide learning opportunities for parents/carers to learn Auslan</li></ul><p>At this stage the position will run across 3 days (Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays) but this is negotiable for the right candidate.</p><p>Please contact Sonia Riccardi (Principal) for further information.</p>
