<p>Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College, Kensington is seeking an innovative, experienced and collaborative TAS teacher to fill this critical teaching role in supporting our future focused direction. Our TAS faculty is expanding due to keen student interest.</p><h5>For an interested candidate, there is also the possibility of the 1 point Youth Ministry Coordinator allowance.</h5><p><br /></p><h5> </h5><h4><b>Key Selection Criteria:</b></h4><ul><li>A working understanding of, and overt commitment to the ethos of a Catholic School in the tradition of the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. </li><li>Ability to teach Stage 4 Mandatory Technology, Stage 5 Electives.</li><li>Ability to teach Hospitality or willingness to be trained in this area.</li><li>An understanding of future directions in education and the ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to design inquiry based learning experiences, where students exercise choice to demonstrate knowledge and understanding. </li><li>Ability to enhance social skills and nurture the growth of enterprise skills including critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration for each student. </li><li>Ability to assist with the implementation of an innovative and challenging integrated curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy in across STEM classrooms. </li><li>A strong commitment to, and high aspirations for, rigorous and innovative approaches to teaching and learning in STEM classrooms.</li><li>Use digital technology as an enabler and accelerator for student and teacher learning. </li><li>Ability to use diagnostic, summative and formative data, including observations, annotations and work samples, to inform ‘next steps’ for students. </li><li>Demonstrated deep understanding of curriculum and pedagogy and how these underpin successful engagement and learning. </li><li>Regularly provide students with feedback as part of the teaching and learning cycle. </li><li>Be open to growth and development through professional learning experiences which includes classroom observations. </li></ul><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Applications Close: 5 October 2021 </b></p><p><a href="https://forms.gle/AkTdvxVAz4AJ3cKh7" rel="nofollow">Teacher Application Form</a></p><p> </p><p> </p>
