This role provides a great opportunity for the right candidate to get their start within the IT industry in the form of Level 1 helpdesk support.

<p>St Francis Xavier College is a Catholic College with a 2020 enrolment of 3300 students which will continue to grow in 2021.<br /></p><p>The College serves families from the parishes of Berwick, Koo Wee Rup, Maryknoll/Iona, Narre Warren and Pakenham under the governance of Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL). </p><p>St Francis Xavier College is easily accessed via several major freeways – only 20 minutes on the M1 from Springvale Road. </p><p>We are seeking a motivated and suitably experienced Helpdesk Administrator to join our College on a full-time ongoing contract. </p><p><b>This role is ideal for someone who has recently graduated or is looking for an entry-level IT Support role. </b></p><p>The Helpdesk Administrator works within the Digital Support Team to provide support services to both staff and students of the College. </p><p><b>Key responsibilities include: </b></p><ul><li>Provide level 1 application and software support to staff and students </li><li>Assist staff and students to optimally utilise digital technology in line with College strategy </li><li>Document and resolve or escalate enquires including prioritising through the helpdesk ticketing system </li><li>Basic Administration of applications (eg. Office 365 / SIMON / Active Directory) </li><li>Administration of the student DLP program (Warranty and Insurance Process) </li><li>Provide excellent customer service and support for staff, teachers, and students in relation to digital technology issues </li><li>Through the management of the helpdesk ticketing system assist with Facilities Department requests </li><li>Provide feedback to the Maintenance and Support Team Leader aimed at improving staff/ student experience with using digital technology </li></ul><p><b>To excel in this position, you will have the following skills, experience and attributes: </b></p><ul><li>Excellent communication skills, to provide training and support to staff and students at a variety of levels and technical abilities </li><li>Confidence and skill in working positively with staff and students </li><li>Ability to adapt to changes </li><li>Experience in testing software and documenting processes </li><li>Excellent time management skills with the ability to demonstrate initiative </li><li>Relevant IT qualifications </li><li>Solid understanding of computer software and hardware </li><li>Broad knowledge of Microsoft programs </li><li>Commitment to excellence in customer service </li><li>Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team </li><li>Ability to analyse and problem solve </li><li>Commitment to occupational health and safety </li></ul><p>The successful incumbent may be required to travel between our 3 campuses and must hold a current driver&#39;s license with access to a motor vehicle. </p><p>Staff are employed under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018.
