Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the Development Manager is responsible for the fundraising and philanthropic endeavours of the College.

<p>Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the Development Manager is responsible for the fundraising and philanthropic endeavours of the College.</p><p>The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of stakeholder management, outstanding customer service, efficient management of financial data, and an energetic, motivating leadership style.<br /></p><p>Annual key performance indicators will be agreed for this role on donor relations, philanthropic income, annual giving participation rates, donor retention and donor satisfaction. </p><p>A high level of confidentiality and discretion is required in all aspects of this role. </p><p><b>TYPICAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS </b></p><ul><li>Fundraising experience, ideally in an educational setting </li><li>Appropriate tertiary qualification in a relevant area of study </li><li>Management and leadership experience </li><li>Stakeholder management experience </li><li>Negotiation, conflict management and interpersonal skills </li><li>Familiarity with and sound understanding of educational philanthropy </li></ul><p>St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill is a modern working environment that requires the agility of staff to respond to a changing educational context and the needs of our school community.
