The Director of Mission and Identity is directly responsible to the Principal and has specific responsibility for enhancing the overarching Catholic dimension of the College.</p> <p>This position involves nurturing a culture that gives witness to gospel values and is evidenced in the quality of relationships that exist both within and beyond the College, its liturgical and faith life, in Religious Education and Retreat programs for Staff and Students, and in opportunities for evangelisation and outreach.</p> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>A personal and active commitment to the catholic faith;<br><br></li> <li>The capacity to clearly articulate a vision for education in the context of a catholic school;<br><br></li> <li>Appropriate qualifications in Religious Education including RE Accreditation at the required level or a willingness to acquire within 4 years of appointment;<br><br></li> <li>Exemplary classroom practice;<br><br></li> <li>Successful experience in leading and managing whole school staff and the ability to develop and work within strong, cohesive teams;<br><br></li> <li>Experience in leading teacher and student formation and developing and implementing whole school strategies aimed at building community in the context of a Catholic school;<br><br></li> <li>Resilience and an ability to maintain respectful and productive relationships with all stakeholders;<br><br></li> <li>An ability to balance big picture thinking with day-to-day management.&nbsp;<br><br></li> </ul> <p><em>Please refer to the role description for an in-depth detail regarding criteria and skill set required.<br><br>Please note that this full-time position is for an initial two-year period with an opportunity for further extensions.
