<p>At Emmaus we hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school.</p><p>This position will be an ongoing classroom position with a deputy leadership role for 3 years. </p><p>It is a significant Leadership Role at our school. </p><p> </p><p>This position incorporates leadership of:</p><ul><li>Education in Faith and of the Catholic Identity of the School</li><li>Wellbeing</li><li>Parent Partnerships</li></ul><p>In addition, successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate:</p><ul><li>commitment to the Catholic Ethos, the principles of Catholic teaching and an ability to live the school&#39;s vision</li><li>commitment to the Emmaus Child Safe Policy and the Staff Code of Conduct - refer to our website</li><li>commitment to the ongoing professional learning and the continuing development of a positive school culture</li><li>an ability to communicate positively and effectively with all stakeholders in the school community</li><li>a deep understanding of inclusion</li><li>a willingness to use data to inform differentiation for all</li><li>a passion for teaching and learning and a willingness to engage, motivate and challenge all learners</li></ul><p>Special Requirements</p><ul><li>A Master in Education in either Leadership, Religious Education or Wellbeing, or currently studying to obtain this qualification, </li><li>accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School,</li><li>current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration</li><li>at least 2 Referees including your current Principal and Parish Priest</li></ul>
