St Pius X High School, Adamstown is seeking a part-time temporary Timber and Metal Workshop Assistant, to join the school community 2 days per week from the beginning of Term 3. In this position you will provide direct support and assistance to our Technology Teachers. <p> You will actively support and contribute to the maintenance and development of a safe working environment by: <br>• Ensuring all machinery, tools and equipment are maintained to the highest standard. Arranging any necessary repairs or servicing as required. <br>• Liaising with teachers regarding ordering and receipt of timber and metal materials. <br>• Organisation and preparation of teaching materials and equipment for practical lessons. <br>• Maintaining stock inventory and records. <br>• Maintaining workshop and storage areas, ensuring that materials and chemicals are stored appropriately. <br>• Ensuring WHS standards in practical workshops are always upheld.
