<p>Our client, an established independent school in Melbourne’s outer south-east, currently has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Principal, School Operations to join their leadership team.
</p><p>Reporting to the Deputy Principal, the Assistant Principal is responsible for overseeing the daily functioning of the school, while also playing a critical role in the management and administration of the schools’ systems and processes. The successful candidate will also have responsibility for the development of whole School policy across the Co-curricular portfolios.</p><p><br /></p><p>
</p><p><b>Key responsibilities include:
</b></p><p>Providing leadership and promoting excellence through the development of high performing co-curricular teams;
</p><p>Driving innovation with respect to co-curricular programs and special events;
</p><p>Actively participating in the development of the strategic direction of the school;
</p><p>Strengthening and refining school-wide practices relating to co-curricular programs;
</p><p>Overseeing policy planning, implementation and assessment;
</p><p>Contributing to processes that encourage communication, consultation and teamwork within the school community;
</p><p>Overseeing the administration responsibilities of the Heads and Deputy Heads of School;
</p><p>Building robust relationships with students, founded on mutual respect.</p><p><br /></p><p>
</p><p><b>Qualifications and Experience:
</b></p><p>A minimum of five years’ experience gained within a similar role, coupled with extensive leadership experience at a whole school level;
</p><p>A Masters’ Degree in educational leadership is also highly advantageous;
</p><p>Proven ability to work effectively with stakeholder groups;
</p><p>A current Working With Children Check (WWCC), Police Check, First Aid and Drivers Licence
