Seeking an administration personnel to provide clerical and administrative services to our High School and Senior College faculty.

<p>Orana Steiner School (Orana) is an independent, co-educational and non-denominational school set in 16 hectares of unique, natural landscape in Weston, an inner south suburb of Canberra. The school was founded in 1981 and currently has enrolments from pre-preschool to Year 12. </p><p>We are seeking a School Administration Officer to provide clerical and administrative services to our High School and Senior College teachers, parents, students and other members of the community. </p><p>The successful applicant is expected to </p><p>• Be energetic and enthusiastic, and have a mature and professional approach to work; and </p><p>• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </p><p>This position will be the first point of contact for Orana High School and Senior College (Faculty) by receiving and actioning enquiries from staff, parents, students and all other individuals and organisations either in person or by telephone or email. The key responsibilities will include but not be limited to undertaking office and clerical tasks requested by the Faculty; maintaining the student database; communicating information to parents; production of Faculty handbooks; administering first aid, and coordinating classroom bookings, meetings and appointments. </p><p>We expect this position to commence on 26 July 2021. The working hours will be 8.00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday to Friday, 5 days per week during Term Time plus one week after Term 4 ends and one week before Term 1 starts each year. However, the working hours could be flexible depending on the candidates and their circumstances.
