You will report directly to the Aquatics Coordinator and work collaboratively within the wider team community at the school of Swim Teachers, to ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and responsible manner. </p><p><br /></p><p>Key tasks &amp; responsibilities will include: </p><ul><li>Teaching students from 5 years of age upwards how to swim, basic swimming strokes and water safety.</li><li>Planning and implementing teaching strategies.</li><li>Gathering basic documentation to support and reinforce training.</li><li>Teaching principles of movement in water.</li><li>Teaching basic aquatic survival and rescue skills.</li></ul><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>To be considered for this position, it is essential that you have: </p><ul><li>Current Aust swim Certificate or equivalent </li><li>Previous experience as a swim teacher, working with students aged 5 years up </li><li>Strong communication skills; both written and verbal </li><li>Exceptional organisational and time management skills </li><li>Displays a high level of self-awareness and the ability to maintain positive relationships </li><li>First Aid Qualification (including Anaphylaxis Accreditation), with up to date CPR </li></ul><p><br /></p><p>A current National Criminal Record Check and Working With Children&#39;s Check (Employee) are essential requirements for these positions. </p><p>These positions are casual, with days and hours available, Monday / Wednesday / Thursday, 3.15pm-6.00pm and Saturday 8.30am-11.00am. </p><p>Although we have indicated a closing date for these positions, applications will be reviewed regularly, with a view to make prompt appointments for commencement in Term 3, 2021 (mid-July). </p><p><br /></p><p>If this sounds like the role for you then do not hesitate, apply online now by clicking the ‘apply’ button. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Applications close Friday 2 July 2021 </b></p><p><br /></p><p><i>Loreto Mandeville Hall is a child safe employer and is committed to the welfare of children and their protection.
