<p>We are seeking to appoint a Preschool Teacher (3 hours per day) and Education Leader (7.5 hours a day) at St Mary’s Community of Learners. We would consider a teacher applicant who would also work 7.5 hours to combine the Teacher/Educator Role. </p><p>At St Mary’s Community of Learners we provide a Long Day Care facility for 3 - 5 year old children as well as a Teacher led Preschool program for 4 year old children. We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic educators who are passionate about supporting pre-school aged children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy and safe environment. </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities: </b></p><p>• Work with the children to create an educational experiences in line with the EYLF that support their well-being. </p><p>• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment. </p><p>• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families. </p><p>• Participate in professional and personal development. </p><p>• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with St Mary’s Community of learner’s expectations and educational philosophy. </p><p>• Document children’s learning. </p><p> <b> Job Requirements: </b></p><p>• Hold a current Ochre Card (Working with Children Card) </p><p>• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care/ Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood </p><p>• A passion for the education and care of pre-school aged children in a play-based environment </p><p>• Effective workplace communication skills </p><p><i>Catholic Education Northern Territory has standards of conduct for employees and volunteers to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
