We have a full time / temporary position available for an experienced, enthusiastic and adaptable History Teacher for Semester 1, 2022, as a member of staff is taking leave. You will be required to predominately teach a range of Year 7-12 classes with a particular focus on Stage 4 & 5 History. Experience with Modern and/or Ancient and/or Extension History in Years 11 and 12 is also desirable.

<p>To be successful you will need to possess and demonstrate:<br />•    Appropriate teaching qualifications and accreditation in NSW <br />•    Comprehensive knowledge of the NSW Curriculum<br />•    Evidence of high-level student outcomes up to and including the HSC<br />•    Evidence of creative &amp; innovative classroom practices<br />•    A high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher<br />•    Commitment and skills in digital literacy<br />•    The capacity to cater for different learning needs<br />•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<br />•    Good administrative skills, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability<br />•    Ability to prioritise and work as part of a team<br />•    A commitment to the strategic direction and ethos of the school <br /><br />Interested applicants should familiarise themselves with the School’s Strategic Plan 2021-2025: Striving for Excellence, available on our website at www.ccgs.nsw.edu.au.
