<p>We are seeking an Intervention teacher who will be able to support students from Year 1 to Year 6 who require additional support with Literacy and Numeracy Learning. <b>This 3 day a week position begins in Term 3 and days can be negotiated.</b> Successful applicants are required to address the following in their cover letter:</p><ul><li>Knowledge of using data to differentiate learning in Literacy and Numeracy</li><li>Ability to cater for individual needs of students in the areas of Literacy and Numeracy</li><li>Additional study in the areas of Literacy and Numeracy (would benefit application, but not essential)</li><li>Open communication skills with teachers, leaders and parents in order to discuss student progress</li></ul><p>The successful applicant must:</p><ul><li>hold current VIT registration</li><li>show a commitment to ongoing professional learning</li><li>knowledge and understanding of Child Safety Standards </li></ul>
