Applicants will need to be willing to work in a team and to support the ethos, vision and strategic direction of Holy Child Primary School. </p><p>We are striving for an enthusiastic and highly organised communicator who follows through with their commitments. </p><p><b>Applicants will be able to demonstrate: </b></p><p>• a deliberate and organised approach to time-tabling </p><p>• a growth mindset and a passion for learning (self and other) </p><p>• the ability to coach and mentor others </p><p>• have a proven understanding of differentiated curriculum and assessment </p><p>• how they have built teacher capacity to transform learning </p><p>• appropriate assessment and reporting strategies that focus on effective feedback and growth </p><p>• a positive attitude towards behavioural support in learning </p><p>• recognise engagement in learning </p><p>• a strong desire to support the learning and growth of students with English as an additional language. </p><p>• an ability to build community and/or partnerships </p><p>Holy Child Primary School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children in our care. </p><p><b>Special Requirements </b></p><p>The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate: </p><p>• a commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children </p><p>• accreditation to teach in a Catholic school </p><p>• accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (or a commitment to complete the study required for this within 5 years) </p><p>• a commitment to the Holy Child Primary School, child safety policy and staff code of conduct; </p><p>• Proven leadership </p><p>• current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) </p><p>• a sound knowledge of contemporary evidence-based pedagogy </p><p>• a commitment to achieve improved learning outcomes for our students </p><p>• an ability to work in a variety of team situations </p><p>• a commitment to ongoing personal and professional learning </p><p>• a strong work ethic </p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
