Full time contract position - Semester 2 Based at our Indooroopilly school Teaching across Junior High & Senior School

The successful candidate would teach Year 8 &amp; 9 Christian Studies and Year 10-12 Religion and Ethics. Secondary teaching areas will also be considered. </p><p>This is a contract position for Semester 2, 2021, commencing 12 July 2021. </p><p><b>About you: </b></p><ul><li>You have demonstrated excellence in teaching Christian Studies and Religion and Ethics across the secondary years (7-12) with a high degree of teaching competence. </li><li>You possess excellent interpersonal skills and are able to communicate sensitively and confidentially with parents, students and other staff </li><li>You are able to build and maintain quality relationships in all aspects of your work </li><li>You are able to select and use appropriately, a wide range of teaching strategies to suit the needs of a diverse range of students. </li><li>You are highly organised and take pride in the planning and preparation of your classes </li><li>You have a demonstrated understanding of current issues in education and can implement strategies to ensure optimal learning outcomes </li><li>You embrace opportunities to reflect upon your professional practice and further develop your own skills and knowledge across a variety of different areas </li><li>You enjoy collaborating with multiple stakeholders and demonstrate effective communication and a solutions-oriented approach within this environment </li><li>You identify with St Peter’s professional behaviours of trust, accountability, unconditional positive regard and open communication and feedback and apply these in all that you do </li><li>You value contributing to diverse and inclusive communities and accept the responsibility to uphold the Christian Ethos, including core values of care, dignity &amp; respect. </li></ul><p>To apply for this position, please submit your cover letter and CV via the link.
