The ICT Officer works collaboratively with other school staff to provide support and assistance to teachers, students and school leadership in the successful delivery of school learning and pastoral outcomes.

<p>As part of the mission of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Parramatta, the Technical Support Officer is accountable for providing specialist technical support.&nbsp;</p> <p>Reports to the Principal &amp; Director of Curriculum (daily work is overseen by the Business Manager)</p> <p>Permanent/Full time (76hrs / fortnight)</p> <p><strong>Position criteria</strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt">Key Accountabilities</span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 11pt">FUNCTION SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES</span></h2> <p>The Technical Support Officer is accountable for:</p> <ul> <li>Delivering IT technical support to the system</li> <li>Monitoring and reporting technical support queries to inform root cause analysis and development of potential solutions</li> <li>Providing desktop support</li> <li>Identifying improvements to technical support processes and procedures</li> <li>Supporting the ICT Trainees</li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 11pt">LEVEL SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES</span></h2> <p><strong>Catholic ethos</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be supportive of the ethos of the Catholic Church</li> <li>Participate in staff liturgical and formation opportunities</li> </ul> <p><strong>Team contribution</strong></p> <ul> <li>Understand and contribute to the delivery and continuous improvement of relevant strategic initiatives and operational plans</li> <li>Deliver and report on day-to-day performance and accountabilities to ensure effective and efficient service delivery</li> <li>Engage in continuous learning and contribute positively to a collaborative and respectful working environment aligned with the culture and values of CEDP &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Risk and compliance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contribute and adhere to policies and processes within CEDP</li> <li>Identify and report risks and where possible propose appropriate mitigation strategies</li> </ul> <h1><span style="font-size: 11pt"><strong>Experience and Qualifications</strong></span></h1> <ul> <li>Tertiary qualifications in the relevant area of study is preferable</li> <li>Appropriate demonstrated experience</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
