<p><b>Permanent, full-time to commence  by negotiation from Term 3, 2021</b></p><p> St Mark&#39;s Coptic Orthodox College is a high achieving K-12 co-educational College, based on the Gospel values of the Coptic Orthodox tradition, located at Wattle Grove in South West Sydney. The successful applicant must demonstrate proven and exemplary teaching and learning environments that actively engage their students towards further developing their advanced Mathematics knowledge and skills, uphold the Ethos of the College and actively participate in the Co-curricular life of the College. Applicants must have a demonstrated ability to successfully teach Mathematics, including Stage 6 Mathematics Extension 1 (and willing to undertake training towards Ext 2 course). </p><p> All candidates are required to show how they have met the following criteria: </p><p><b> Selection Criteria </b></p><ul><li> Describe how you as a classroom practitioner, can incorporate innovative pedagogy into your teaching of Mathematics. </li><li> Give examples of how you possess a strong knowledge of NESA curriculum, HSC assessment practices and marking processes, including developments with Australian curriculum implementation in NSW</li><li> Briefly outline your experience in inspiring and supporting fellow teachers, and for building a sense of team and community within a department</li><li> Outline your understanding and obligations of child protection when working within a school</li><li> Give an example of an ongoing commitment to professional learning, including making a contribution to the broader educational community </li></ul><p><b> You will also need: </b></p><ol><li> a current Working With Children Check approval number and already possess current Accreditation status with NESA</li><li>Applicants must be a practicing Christian and are to state their parish, priest and involvement within their Church.</li></ol><p><b>To apply: </b></p><p> Applicants are to email their Application and CV to the Head of College, ensuring the Selection Criteria has been completed to: recruit&#64;stmarks.nsw.edu.au by Thursday, 8 July 2021. </p><p> Please include 3 Referees when sending applications, including your Parish Priest or Pastor which is also required. </p><p> All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
