St Peter's College is currently seeking applications for a Replacement Science (Years 7-9) and Mathematics (Year 7) Teacher commencing Monday 19 July and concluding Friday 24 September 2021 (Term 3).
<p>All teaching staff are expected contribute to the co-curricula program and act as a Mentor in the House pastoral care program. Other responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Teach the agreed curriculum in Science and Mathematics from Years 7 to 12.</li><li>Adhere to all Australian Curriculum, SACE and International Baccalaureate requirements; and
</li><li>Assist with programming and assessment for each Year level in Science and Mathematics and support the work of the Faculties in the Senior School.
</li></ul><p><b><u>As the successful applicant you will:
</u></b></p><ul><li>Have experience in teaching Science and Mathematics at Senior Secondary level;
</li><li>Demonstrate and promote excellence in classroom teaching;
</li><li>Cultivate and maintain a classroom environment which is stimulating, focused and supportive which reflects the school’s values and ethos;
</li><li>An ability to incorporate the use of digital technology into the investigation, teaching and learning; </li><li>Hold current registration with the South Australian Teachers’ Registration Board; and</li><li>Demonstrate a willingness to support the School's Values and Anglican ethos.
