<p>The role of the Grounds and Maintenance Worker is to carry out all duties required to create and maintain an aesthetically pleasing, safe and healthy environment within the College grounds and to support staff and students with placement of furniture, equipment and resources. The successful applicant will also carry out repairs and maintenance as appropriate.</p><p>General duties will include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>General gardening, including checking of reticulation;</li><li>Watering of pot plants;</li><li>Emptying and cleaning of bins;</li><li>Ensure paved areas and college grounds are clear of leaves, rubbish, etc;</li><li>Minor painting;</li><li>General maintenance and repair duties;</li><li>Cleaning of drains &amp; gutters;</li><li>Change light bulbs as required;</li><li>Maintenance of college fleet vehicles.</li></ul><p>Qualifications required include:</p><ul><li>NT Working with Children Card; and,</li><li>Light Rigid Driver&#39;s Licence as a minimum requirement.</li></ul>
