<p><b>Junior Primary Teacher - Fixed Term Contract (16 weeks)</b></p><p>SCBC is seeking dedicated and passionate Junior Primary Teacher to join the Primary School on a short term contract. You will play a pivotal role in providing education and care for students enrolled at the College, consistent with our Christian beliefs, philosophy, curriculum, and according to the National Quality Framework.</p><p><b>POSITION SUMMARY</b></p><ul><li>The advertised role is a Contracted part time teaching position primarily providing DOTT support for a Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Year 1 class. Specific days of allocation are Tuesdays – Pre-Primary, Wednesdays –Year 1 and Thursdays – Kindergarten.</li><li>The position involves planning, teaching, and evaluating student learning using the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Kindergarten Curriculum Guidelines for WA (KCGWA) and following the West Australian Curriculum in Pre-Primary and Year 1. The successful applicant will require abilities in the following areas:</li><li>A high level of understanding of Kindergarten and Pre-Primary Curriculum, the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents, and teaching professionals</li><li>Ability to establish strong relationships with families</li><li>A willingness to work as part of a team</li><li>Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach and/or a willingness to learn more about this philosophy and its influence on teaching pedagogy. </li></ul><p><b>POSITION REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE: </b></p><ul><li>Suitable qualifications in the field of education are expected with a minimum standard being and Bachelor Qualifications.
