As a member of the school leadership team, the Religious Education Coordinator shares responsibility for the development of the Catholic life of the school, leadership of its vision, mission and strategic priorities. This position requires an outstanding educator with a well-developed capacity to take forward the evangelising mission of Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Sydney.

<p><b>ABOUT THE SCHOOL </b></p><p>St Francis Xavier’s Catholic Primary achieves its mission, ‘Prepare the Way’, by engaging students in quality Religious Education programs which impart Catholic beliefs, values, practices and traditions. The provision of a differentiated, meaningful curriculum challenges learners to achieve success in a well resourced environment. Teaching practices are underpinned by contemporary understanding of the teaching and learning process and promote growth and development of the individual. The school’s improvement programs include a strong emphasis on high standards in Literacy and Numeracy. The school curriculum includes Specialist Support programs in Reading Recovery, Special Education, English as a Second Language and Gifted and Talented. The school offers Sport, Dance, Choir and a wide range of Technology experiences. The school environment is welcoming, well managed and safe. Pastoral Care is based on a belief that each member of the community should be supported with dignity, respect and justice.
