The College seeks an experienced and qualified Deputy Principal to commence no later than January 2022 in a full time permanent position.

<p><b>ABOUT US </b></p><p>Emmanuel Anglican College, Ballina provides an innovative and dynamic learning environment for students in Pre-school to Year 12 and is highly regarded as a centre of academic and pastoral excellence in the Ballina Shire and Northern Rivers Region. </p><p><b>ABOUT THE ROLE </b></p><p>The College seeks an experienced and qualified Deputy Principal to commence no later than January 2022 in a full time permanent position. </p><p>The Deputy Principal is a member of the College Executive, directly responsible to the Principal and works in partnership with the College Executive providing quality educational opportunities for the students. The Deputy Principal, together with the Principal, is responsible for the leadership and effective administration of the College. </p><p>A full position description is available on the College website www.eac.nsw.edu.au/about-us/employment </p><p><i><b>Essential Criteria: </b></i></p><ul><li>Capacity and desire to contribute to the ethos and strategic direction of Emmanuel Anglican College. </li><li>Significant and broad leadership experience in an educational setting and a demonstrated capacity to lead a team effectively. </li><li>Extensive knowledge of the Australian National Curriculum and New South Wales Education Standards Authority requirements as they apply to both the Primary and Secondary setting. </li><li>A depth of knowledge of pedagogy and contemporary educational practice. </li><li>The initiative and capacity to collate and analyse data and develop processes to ensure it informs curriculum design as well as teaching and learning practice. </li><li>Outstanding communicative, organisational and administrative skills and a demonstrated ability to develop and manage policies, systems and procedures. </li><li>Demonstrated capacity to oversee processes for timetable construction and implementation, student management and reward, student leadership, calendar development and Reporting. </li><li>Capacity to lead professional learning processes to grow teacher capacity and improve professional practice, including supporting teachers working through processes for Accreditation. </li></ul><p>Essential Criteria forms a specific part of the selection process.
