Mount St Bernard College is seeking applications for a Deputy Principal - Curriculum & Administration to join their team in July 2021.

<ul><li>Fixed Term Position</li><li>Commencing 12 July 2021</li><li>Applications Close: 24 May 2021</li></ul><p><b>Purpose of the Role</b><br /></p><p>The Deputy Principal – Curriculum and Administration, is a key member of the Leadership Team and is therefore called upon to share in and give direction to the educational and faith life of the College. </p><p>Recognising the Gospel context of a Catholic college, the Deputy Principal – Curriculum and Administration works within a framework of shared ministry, focussing on collaborative participation and teamwork within the College community to enliven the aims of the College. </p><p>The Deputy Principal – Curriculum and Administration has primary responsibility for curriculum as well as day to day organistaion of the College Day school. The person in this position also deputieses for the principal in their absence. </p><p><b>Mandatory Qualifications &amp; Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Participation in and commitment to the sacramental life of the Church</li><li>Understanding and commitment to education in the Catholic tradition </li><li>Professional qualifications in Education and Religion as per Queensland Catholic Education Commission Position Statement for Senior Leadership Positions in Catholic Schools in Queensland </li><li>Leadership experience:</li></ul><p>Demonstrated ability in religious and education leadership<br />Demonstrated administrative ability<br />Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships</p><ul><li>Demonstrated ability in curriculum development including knowledge of contemporary educational issues at state and national levels with particular reference to Religious Education </li><li>Written and verbal communication skills of a high order </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to the Pastoral Care of members of the school community </li><li>Skills for building community including facilitation, delegation and consultation </li><li>Professional qualifications in Education </li><li>Registered or eligible to register with Queensland College of Teachers </li><li>Promote child safety at all times </li><li>Current drivers licence </li><li>A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision and ethos of Catholic Education</li></ul><p><b>How to Apply</b> </p><p>For further information and an application pack, please visit our website <a href="http://www.cns.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.cns.catholic.edu.au</a> </p><p><b>Applications close 5pm, Monday 24 May 2021</b></p><p>Catholic Education is an equal opportunity employer. </p><p>Intending applicants must be fully committed to creating and maintaining a child safe organisation.</p>
