Is a new K-Yr12 school located at Edmondson Park. It is the result of a partnership between the CEO Wollongong and EREA.

<p>St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park is located near the junction of the M5 and M7 motorways. It is a rapidly growing P-12 school with a student population exceeding 1000 students for 2021 in Years K–11. The college is one school, not a traditional primary school and high school coexisting on the same site. As such, the college is organised into Junior Years Learning (K-4), Middle Years Learning (5-8) and Senior Years Learning (9-12).</p> <p>A unique opportunity is being offered to suitably qualified teachers to be part of a program in the systemic Catholic schools of the Diocese with a temporary, full time contract of employment from 24 May 2021 (start date negotiable) until 17 December 2021. The successful applicant will be flexible classroom practitioner, willing to teach across K-6 classes.&nbsp; The role of Indentured Casual Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.</li> <li>Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.</li> <li>Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.</li> <li>Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.</li> <li>Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.</li> <li>Commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos and mission of the school</li> <li>Excellent classroom management skills</li> <li>Ability to adapt effectively to the&nbsp;casual&nbsp;teaching needs of a school</li> <li>Qualification to teach Religious Education or the willingness to undertake relevant studies.</li> </ul> <p>GENERAL CAPABILITIES</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Well-developed interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li> </ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).</li> <li>Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment&nbsp; with CEDoW.</li> <li>The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.</li> </ul> <p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p>This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.</p> <p>POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</p> <p>Applicants are to complete an online application which asks to briefly address the essential criteria (equivalent to 2-3 pages) and submit a short CV (2-3 pages).</p> <p>To submit your Application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.</p> <p><strong>Closing date: 19 May 2021 at 3pm</strong></p>
