<p><b>Temporary 0.4 FTE part-time Classroom Teacher Selection Criteria:</b></p><p>• an understanding of and a commitment to the mission of Catholic education and qualifications to teach Religious Education in accordance with Sydney Catholic Schools&#39; policies</p><p>• a deep personal commitment to the practice of their faith and their own spiritual formation </p><p>• excellent classroom practice, deep knowledge of K-6 syllabus documents, and abilities to utilise a range of effective pedagogies to enable a diverse range of students to achieve their potential in an inclusive setting</p><p>• effective use of assessment techniques and student feedback to inform teaching and learning and implement changes to programs, as required, to improve student learning outcomes </p><p>• an excellent understanding of contemporary English and Mathematics pedagogy using the Gradual Release of Responsibility model with high expectations for student learning </p><p>• the ability to integrate ICT effectively and creatively to provide authentic learning opportunities within a contemporary future-focused environment </p><p>• capacity to create a safe and supportive learning environment that caters for the needs of all students and encourages and stimulates learning </p><p>• positive, realistic and creative strategies for student behaviour management within the School wide Positive Behaviours for Learning (SPBL) framework </p><p>• commitment to and capacity to work effectively and collaboratively in collegial teams </p><p>• highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the demonstrated ability to engage positively with students, parents/carers and staff</p><p>• Child protection screening compliance (WWCC number) </p><p>• Registered to teach with NESA and aware of accreditation procedures</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
