<p>Trinity Lutheran College is a Kindergarten to Year 12 Christian co-educational college and an International Baccalaureate World School for the Primary Years Programme (PYP.) Located in Ashmore on Queensland’s beautiful Gold Coast, it also offers an on-site Early Learning Centre. </p><p>We are seeking an experienced Christian educator with the vision, commitment and skills to provide leadership and management for the culture and operations of the college. This is a full-time permanent teaching position with added responsibilities for a tenure of 3 years renewable under the terms and conditions of the current Queensland Lutheran Schools Single Enterprise Agreement 2020. </p><p><b>Overview of the position: </b></p><p>The Head of Culture and Operations is a member of the campus and college leadership team and provides leadership and management for the culture and operations of the College and strategic/instructional leadership and management to staff in the areas of student culture. </p><p>The Head of Culture and Operations is responsible for: </p><ul><li>Oversight of student leadership and culture through an active and effective student leadership model reflecting contemporary best practices for co-educational Christian education </li><li>Provide leadership and advice regarding student leadership whilst culturing an environment of school and house spirit </li><li>Establishing a positive student culture and developing a strong sense of community that reflect the core Trinity values enabling students to flourish now, and well into their future engagement in a globally connected society </li><li>Seek to effect/enact continual improvements in operational efficiencies by ensuring leadership, management and administration support is provided to the Head of Campus to realise the operational goals of the college </li><li>Consult, advise, co-operate and provide effective leadership and management in matters of school policy, organisation, practice and strategic direction with respect to student culture and operational matters </li></ul><p>The successful candidate will have a record of success in school culture and operational management, coupled with the ability to lead and mentor a team. </p><p><b>Selection criteria </b></p><p>The following criteria will be used by the selection panel when short-listing candidates: </p><ul><li>Be committed to growing and practicing one’s Christian faith </li><li>Demonstrated ability to improve the culture of the college through the implementation of best practice student leadership and operational initiatives </li><li>Demonstrated leadership ability to think strategically and laterally in student leadership and operational matters with the ability to make sound judgements to realise the strategic vision of the college.
