<p><b>St Mary’s Cathedral College is a boys&#39; College in the heart of the city adjacent to the Cathedral. Our mission is to develop Christian students inspired by the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice, in striving for excellence in a multitude of educational opportunities provided by the College. We espouse the evangelizing mission of the Church promoting Gospel Spirituality, Justice and Solidarity, an inclusive Community and Liberating Education. We are committed to creating a Christian environment, with the teachings of Jesus Christ at its core. The College has over 700 students in Years 7-12 and has existed on this site for over 190 years. The College is underpinned by the touchstones of the Order of the Christian Brothers who led this institution for 105 years prior to 2016.</b></p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Exemplary classroom practice and the ability to teach Stages 4 &amp; 5  Music</li><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education in Sydney Catholic Schools or commitment to obtaining this accreditation</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of NESA syllabi including; assessment &amp; reporting.</li><li>Ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of the students.</li><li>Sound interpersonal skills and a willingness to work collaboratively as a team member.</li><li>Confidence with the integration of technology into the curriculum to promote quality learning opportunities.</li><li>A willingness to contribute to co-curricular activities, particularly in music.</li><li>Experience in teaching HSC courses may be an advantage.</li><li>An understanding and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College.</li></ul>
