<p>At Emmaus we hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school. </p><p>Applicants will believe in educating the whole child - academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually. They will possess the understandings, skills and ability to implement high expectations for all. The applicant will be able to teach across all year levels from Foundation - Year 6 and be positive, flexible and willing to embrace a collaborative approach to learning and teaching. The days are negotiable.</p><p>In addition, successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate</p><ul><li>commitment to the Catholic Ethos, the principles of Catholic teaching and an ability to live the school&#39;s vision</li><li>commitment to the Emmaus Child Safe Policy and the Staff Code of Conduct</li><li>commitment to ongoing professional learning and the continuing development of a positive school culture</li><li>an ability to communicate positively and effectively with all stakeholders in the school community</li><li>an understanding of inclusion</li><li>a willingness to use data to inform differentiation for all</li><li>a passion for teaching and learning and a willingness to engage, motivate and challenge all learners.</li></ul><p>Special Requirements</p><ul><li>accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a commitment to obtain accreditation</li><li>current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.</li></ul>
