<p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong><br> Based at the central office in East Melbourne, the <strong>General Manager, Student Wellbeing</strong> will demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Catholic education and a capacity to realise that mission in the context of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS) Strategic Plan which promotes strong, shared leadership and a culture of creativity and innovative practice.<br> <br> The key objectives of this position include the ability to lead and direct school service delivery to ensure high-quality and equitable Catholic education specifically in the areas of student wellbeing and child safety, including:<br> </p> <ul> <li>Managing the delivery of MACS strategic support and resources to build capability in student wellbeing and child safety</li> <li>Contributing to the development of system-wide strategic initiatives and leading their implementation in student wellbeing and child safety</li> <li>Targeting resources and providing customised advice and service delivery to schools to maximise impact on student wellbeing and child safety</li> </ul> <p><strong>TO BE SUCCESSFUL</strong><br> <br> Applicants must have:</p> <ol> <li>Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education and/or Management</li> <li>Significant experience in strategic management (in an education context preferred)</li> <li>Evidence of successful service or program delivery in a large, complex network environment</li> <li>A Current Victorian Driver's Licence</li> <li>The successful applicant will also be subject to a <em>Working with Children Check</em> and a <em>National Police Record Check</em><em>.</em></li> </ol> <p><em>Applicants must hold full unrestricted working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.</em><br> <br> <strong>SELECTION CRITERIA</strong><br> Please refer to the relevant <a href="https://cem.elmotalent.com.au/uploads/cem/files/PositionDescriptionGeneralManagerStudentWellbeingApril2021.pdf">position description attached</a> for the Key Selection Criteria.<br> <br> <strong>WHATS IN IT FOR YOU?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Generous salary and conditions</li> <li>Professional development opportunities</li> <li>Work/Life balance</li> <li>the opportunity for flexible working arrangements</li> <li>Enhancing the education of more than 150,000 students.</li> </ul> <p><strong>HOW TO APPLY</strong><br> <br> Apply for this position through our <a href="https://cem.elmotalent.com.au/careers/careers/jobs">Careers Portal</a>.
