<p>Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS) is a dynamic educational governing authority and service provider to Catholic primary, secondary and special schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. More than 550 staff work across the head office in East Melbourne and four regional offices in the North, East, South and West. MACS is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong><br> Based at the Eastern Regional Office, the <strong>Learning Consultant, Mathematics School Support</strong> will demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Catholic education and a capacity to realise that mission in the context of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS) Strategy Plan which promotes strong, shared leadership and a culture of creativity and innovative practice.<br> <br> The Key objectives of this position are:<br> </p> <ol> <li>Provide advice to Team Leader, Mathematics and Manager, Improved Learning Outcomes, on the curriculum, assessment, reporting and professional learning needs of schools in the region.</li> <li>Working in partnership with school leaders of Learning and Teaching to strategically develop and implement MACS and Victorian curriculum, assessment and reporting priorities in Mathematics.</li> <li>Build the capacity of teachers and school leaders to improve student performance through quality teaching and Catholic curriculum design.</li> <li>Build the capacity of teachers and school leaders for improvement in Mathematics.</li> </ol> <p>This is an ongoing Learning Consultant position. Salary for this position is between $72,058 (T1/1) and $108,003 (T2/6) in accordance with the Teacher Salaries as set out in the <em><a href="http://www.cecv.catholic.edu.au/Media-Files/IR/EB/VCEMEA-2018/VCEMEA-2018-(1).aspx">Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018</a></em> (VCEMEA), and is based upon teaching qualifications and experience. In addition to this, a school adviser allowance which is dependent upon years of service will be applicable (categorised by either A: $8,817 or B: $11,921). Superannuation according to them Superannuation Guarantee Legislation will be in addition to the above.
