We are looking for an experienced Music Director and educator to join our dynamic team to enhance the profile of the Redlands Music Program.

<ul><li><b>Lead a team of passionate and experienced music educators in Cremorne</b></li><li><b>Build musical experiences for students that promote excellence</b></li><li><b>Full-time, permanent position commencing Term 3 2021</b></li></ul><p>Redlands is a dynamic, leading Sydney independent school, providing a diverse, co-educational P-12 learning environment with an innovative, flexible and research-based teaching practice. We aim to inspire students to achieve life-readiness and to let their light shine, through the provision of a world recognised, contemporary education. The School is founded in the Anglican tradition, based upon established Christian values.</p><p>The Director of Music (P-12) has the primary responsibility for leading and developing all aspects of the School&#39;s music program. The purpose of this role is to provide leadership in the planning and achievement of education programs aligned with current and future trends in education. They are responsible for leading and managing the Music department staff and working collaboratively to develop a culture of academic and performance excellence within the Music department and wider School. </p><p>The Director of Music (P-12) will have an outstanding record as a classroom Music teacher and considerable experience in teaching all levels of the music curriculum. They will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, highly developed organisational and administrative skills and an ability to manage and coordinator staff and the day to day activities of the Music department. </p><p>As a leading educator, evidence-based best practice in the delivery of classroom and co-curricular music programs is essential.
